Inside you have a streak of Naar himself, a portion of the Dark Deity that seems in some way to connect to this evil blade. Instinctively, you suddenly feel Haakon's Stone pulsating under your cloak. Guided totally by your subconsciousness, your hands touch the stone, bringing it out, and touching it to the blade of Helshezag. Miraculously, the cracks mend, and the stone, whole and undamaged, suddenly powers up, as if touched by the hand of Naar himself. It pulsates dark power, giving you the glorifying sensation of triumph. Placing the stone on the hilt, Haakon's Stone slowly sinks into the sword, resting in it comfortably as it pulsates (do not delete it from your Special Items list however). The Sword Helshezag will add +9 to your Combat Skill as long as you also have Haakon's Stone. It will add +8 to your combat Skill should you ever lose the Stone. It has various other powers and a sinister history which are about to be revealed to you.
